mCore Pro is a user-friendly and powerful tool that enables desktop and web applications to send and receive SMS and WAP Push messages using any ETSI 07.05 compliant GSM modem or phone handset connected to a PC's serial port.
One of the great benefits of using mCore is the flexibility to develop applications that require sending/receiving SMS in multiple languages. Whether you need to send messages in English or languages such as Arabic, Chinese, Thai, Greek, Hebrew, and Hindi, mCore has you covered.
Some of the key features that I found especially useful include the ability to send and receive SMS messages, send Flash SMS (immediate display alert messages), and send WAP Push messages. Additionally, mCore supports 7-bit GSM default Alphabet as well as 8-bit ANSI and 16-bit Unicode characters for sending and receiving SMS in international languages.
Other features that I appreciated include the option to define action-attribute, content-created, and expiry attributes for WAP Push, the ability to read messages from phone memory or SIM memory, and the option to send long messages with simple splitting, formatted splitting with pagination, or as a concatenated message.
I also appreciated that mCore offers the option to read incoming concatenated messages as one single message or multiple parts, delete messages from the modem, and send custom AT commands and read responses. Additionally, mCore allows you to set the PIN for the modem or phone with a protected SIM.
With a standard license, users have the ability to install and use mCore Pro on multiple computers within an enterprise. For distribution rights, a 'mCore Pro - Distribution License' is required.
In summary, I found mCore Pro to be an excellent component for enabling desktop or web-based applications for 2-way SMS & WAP Push. Its robust features, multilingual capabilities, and user-friendly interface make it a valuable tool for developers.
