Black always moves first, and players take turns placing pieces on the board. When a player places a piece, they must capture at least one opponent piece or skip their turn. To capture opponent pieces, a player must align their pieces horizontally, vertically, or diagonally with their own pieces without any spaces between them, while also surrounding at least one of the opponent's pieces. Any opponent pieces trapped by the player's move will be turned over and become the player's pieces.

The scoreboard on the left of the screen shows the current number of pieces for both sides. Players must finish their moves within the given time limit, as indicated by the timer on the screen, or else they will lose. The game ends when both players are unable to make any more moves, and the player with the most pieces turned to their side wins.
