As a software review, I recently had the pleasure of testing out PubOrder POS, which includes an innovative bonus feature that allows customers in pubs or restaurants to contribute to the establishment's playlist. Using any browser on their smartphones, customers can connect to the same network (such as the same Wi-Fi) to access the pub's playlist and view the current queue.

One of the major benefits of this feature is that it keeps customers engaged and invested in the entertainment experience. With the ability to add songs to the winamp queue (and view the queue), customers can make personalized contributions to the atmosphere in real-time. This also creates a sense of community among the patrons, as they can see what their peers are choosing and potentially discover new music.

While customers cannot adjust the volume or stop/interrupt the current song, this is actually a benefit as it eliminates potential disruptions and keeps the entertainment running smoothly.
