PageGate

The PageGate software is a network messaging tool that enables network-wide SMS messaging in multiple ways. It allows message delivery through email, web page, command line, text file, internet, serial port, modem, mobile phone, wireless modem, direct database access, and windows client. This SMS or text messaging can be sent to various devices, including cell phones, mobile phones, wireless devices, pagers, fax machines, email, billboards, and more.

PageGate's gateway provides a flexible, powerful way to take control of corporate communications, with support for several delivery protocols and methods. The software supports message delivery via the internet using protocols such as SNPP, WCTP, SMTP, and XMPP (email), as well as via TAP, UCP, GSM-AT, and GSM-AT-IP protocols. Messages can also be directly delivered to a terminal or encoder via a direct serial (RS232) connection.

PageGate is scalable for high-end, high-throughput SMS and text messaging gateway for corporate communications. It can easily integrate into existing applications, enabling users to send messages from within existing applications. The software supports up to sixteen simultaneous internet or modem connections for high volume, and a single PageGate server can run across multiple computers for distributed message processing.

PageGate supports many advanced features, including redundant outbound connections in the event of hardware or phone line failures. It can reroute messages on delivery failures and send them to secondary devices or resend them to the same device through a different method. On-call groups can be used with schedules to automatically route messages to current on-call personnel. Non-critical messages can be automatically held overnight and delivered at the beginning of the business day.

Finally, PageGate makes administration easy, with a centralized database, an easy-to-use object-oriented administration program, and a real-time monitoring program that can be run remotely, even over the internet. The software provides a powerful solution for corporate SMS and text messaging needs.
