PDFBuilderX is an OCX control that allows the creation of PDF files with images, graphics and text. It supports various file formats for importing images and the software is available for a free trial run.

Graphics can be created by drawing diverse shapes, such as lines, rectangles, circles, and ellipses, allowing the user to have maximum flexibility and control of the final document output. Along with this, users have complete programmatic control of the positioning and sizing of the different document components, including images, graphics, and text.
In addition, the control offers a range of standard fonts or TrueType fonts, which users can utilise to write text in the document. The text can be aligned to the left, right or the centre, allowing for greater design customisation. This feature also includes an automatic word-wrapping option, which simplifies the document creation process.
Hyperlinks can be added to text or images within the PDF document to create more interactive and easy-to-use documents. Multiple page documents are also supported, with no restrictions on mixing pages of different sizes. The software supports all page sizes, either through customisation of width and height or by selecting from a predefined list of standard sizes.
Fonts can be embedded in the PDF file if required, ensuring that the PDF document displays correctly regardless of which system they are opened on. Finally, users can try out the software for themselves by accessing a trial version of the control that includes full functionality. The only caveat is that a banner will be added on each page stating that trial software was used to create the PDF file.
