Screen Guard software protects personal computers with customizable security policies for different users, managed through user-specific profiles.
There are three password styles available: classic, where entered symbols are compared to a correct password; first N entered symbols, where N is the length of the correct password; and last N entered symbols, where N is the same as in the previous style. The latter two styles are useful when other people may be watching as you enter your password, but you still want to keep the password secure.
In addition to password settings, Screen Guard also allows you to restrict access to certain elements of the operating system. For example, you can prevent users from changing the date and time, adding or removing programs and Windows components, and altering display and system settings.
You can also set auto-terminating processes for programs that specific users are not allowed to launch. Furthermore, Screen Guard enables you to set a maximum allowed term of work for each user. Once the designated time has expired, the PC can be optionally protected or switched off.
Overall, Screen Guard provides a comprehensive set of features to safeguard your computer and ensure that each user accesses only the content and functionality they need.
