Willing Webcam software enables you to create time-lapse videos with your webcam. You can customize the compression and file size limits, and the webcam can record video for a selected duration, stops, and restarts.
Moreover, you can create streaming videos for popular video-sharing sites, such as YouTube or Vimeo, to share your content with a broader audience. Willing Webcam can seamlessly integrate with instant messengers, Skype, and Windows Live Messenger, to make it easier to have video chats with your friends, family, or business associates worldwide. It can also resolve compatibility issues by transferring the video stream through an intermediate driver if your video equipment doesn't work with IM.
Additionally, Willing Webcam connects with most USB and FireWire (IEEE 1394) video devices, including webcams, camcorders, TV and video capture cards, TV tuners, Canon digital cameras, and IP network cameras. The webcam software uses a motion control sensor to activate the camera and trigger an action, such as sending an e-mail, MMS, or SMS message, uploading to an FTP site, sounding an alarm, or starting another application. If you often travel or spend a lot of time away from home, you can use Willing Webcam to detect any motion in your home and monitor housekeepers, nannies or other visitors to your home.
Remote management allows you to send an e-mail, SMS message, or http command to control the webcam, and you can even upload files to an FTP site or send an e-mail with attachments to your own e-mail address if you want to save the evidence. The webcam software also has a time-lapse function, which records a video at certain time points. Using it like a DVR (digital video recorder), you can record frame by frame and then view the movie later. Willing Webcam offers many features that will satisfy your needs for video streaming, surveillance, and communication.
