AutoFetchCover_CN is a script for Amarok that automatically retrieves album covers for Chinese artists.
AutoFetchCover_CN is a useful Amarok script that helps fetch album covers for Chinese artists. While Amarok provides a function to download album covers from amazon.com, it often fails to work for Chinese albums. Manually searching for hundreds of album cover images can be tedious and boring. The script can automatically fetch cover images of Chinese artists from in the background if an image is found. Installing the script is easy, just use Amarok Scripts Manager and run it. However, the script has known problems such as the cover image not loading until the next time the same album plays.
There are also issues with album cover images with artist names containing dots or album names containing spaces. The script cannot fetch these album covers. The creator of AutoFetchCover_CN is currently preparing for CET6 and will not be able to work on the script for the next few months. However, any improvements made to the script are welcome.
