Break Reminder

Breaking Reminder is a software designed to prevent and assist in the recovery of OOS/RSI. It diligently runs in the background of your computer keeping an eye on your computer usage, and will give you the appropriate pause and/or break reminder. One of the key features of this software is that it can be customized to a great extent, making it highly user configurable.

Users have the option to customize their settings to suit their individual needs, including advance warnings, screen black-out, sounds, ignoring or enforcing pauses and/or breaks, variable timings and operational modes, and auto run options. You can also set micropause reminders for after specific preset intervals, as well as rest breaks for after a predetermined number of Micropauses.

The software also has the capability to detect when the user is inputting data and will automatically modify the pause/break timings depending on use. It also keeps a log file for each user to record most events, including ignored pauses and breaks. To access necessary functions and status, the system tray icon right-click menu is available.

Additionally, breaking Reminder provides options to ignore or enforce breaks, with sounds indicating when breaks start and finish. Users can choose between Micropauses only, Rest Breaks only, or both. For added security, there's even an optional password protection feature. Multiple user versions are also available. This software has a worldwide fanbase, with many users finding it indispensable.
