BriefAudit lets users view document change history effortlessly by selecting and displaying only essential information, including the date and time of file modification and modifier identification within the file's properties.

Using BriefAudit is incredibly simple, all you have to do is right-click on the file you're interested in and select Properties (Windows 2000 Explorer) or Command+I (Macintosh finder). After selecting the file, BriefAudit selects files changes events in NT4/NT2000 Security Log, and writes the selected events in the corresponding Windows 2000 and/or Macintosh files comments.
