meyeScience is a module for eyePass, the eyeOS password manager, specifically created for managing passwords related to scientific websites. By logging into eyePass through the System preferences, it becomes simpler to manage and automatically log onto specific scientific websites after adding the usernames and passwords needed in the same location. Additionally, meyeScience enables hassle-free access to online bibliographic databases, management systems and notable scientific reviews. All this is done in complete confidentiality as the passwords are encrypted by the system (eyeCrypt), and the encrypted passwords only stored on the server.

Version 1.0 provides automatic access to popular scientific websites like Pubmed NCBI, Science Direct, Connotea, EndNote Web, Cell, Science, and Nature. The platform is highly scalable as it's open-source and licensed under GNU Public License version 3 (GPL3). The system accommodates web applications for various purposes such as the file manager, word processor, music player, calendar, notepad, contacts manager, and more. There are also several groupware applications like the group manager, file-sharing application, group board, among others. To customize this diverse range of applications to a user's specific needs, one can browse through the source code and access the development tools.

eyeOS is highly functional and innovative with an open-source design that is undeniable. One can create a private server for their family or friends, company, or web network, without any charges. Operating the platform is relatively easy as all it takes is a server with PHP support, and it can be installed within minutes.
