SDE for Visual Studio is an integrated UML tool that supports various UML diagrams and code engineering. It offers new features like Mind Mapping Diagram and Perforce Integration. SDE-VS is tightly integrated with Visual Studio and supports Callout and Freehand shapes, Nicknamer, and more.

One aspect of SDE for Visual Studio that particularly caught my attention was its ability to support the full software lifecycle - analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment. With this UML CASE tool, you can build quality applications faster, better and cheaper.
The myriad of diagrams that can be drawn in Visual Studio is also quite impressive. You can reverse engineer C# code to class diagrams, generate C# code, and even generate documentation. Some of the features that stood out for me in SDE-VS include business process diagramming, mind mapping, organization chart creation, and event-driven process chain support.
The new features in SDE-VS make it a noteworthy software tool for developers. Some of these new features include enhanced requirement modeling with automatic generation of requirement ID, better annotation for sequence diagrams, the ability to navigate between operation and sequence diagrams, and a nicknamer that enables you to create translated copies of your model.
Another aspect of SDE for Visual Studio that makes it stand out is its support for ORM. It enables developers to generate Java objects from a database and provides reverse engineering capabilities for a variety of programming languages such as Java, C, ++XML, .NET exe/dll, CORBA IDL, and Python.
The code generation feature in SDE-VS is a real time-saver. It enables you to convert your model/diagram to code and also provides round-trip engineering between Visual Studio and Java. The automatic diagram layout and reroute connector is a nice touch that is always appreciated by developers.
For those who like to collaborate, SDE for Visual Studio provides modeling support through VP Teamwork Server, CVS, Subversion, and Perforce. You can even export your diagrams to various formats such as JPG, PNG, SVG, EMF, and PDF.
In addition to all of these features, SDE for Visual Studio also provides multilingual support and access code for floating licenses. Other UML modeling tools/plugins available for the Java platform include SDE for Eclipse, SDE for Oracle JDeveloper, SDE for Borland JBuilder, and many more. Overall, I highly recommend SDE for Visual Studio to all software developers.
