StereoTracer automatically creates glasses-free 3D sequences from 2D images or stereo pairs by generating special depth-maps, resulting in high-quality multi-view 3D sequences.

One of the key features of StereoTracer is its Depth Map Processing. The software works with a user drawn-depth map and automatically calculates one or two depth maps from a stereo pair for further 3D sequence rendering.
StereoTracer renders multi-view 3D series of frames based on various input formats. For instance, it can create 3D sequences of frames from either one 2D picture and a user-drawn depth map or a stereo pair and an automatically calculated depth map (for one of the frames).
StereoTracer also supports stereo photo stored in separate files or in one file (side-by-side). Additionally, it is compatible with the MPO file format used by the Fujifilm FinePix Real 3D and Panasonic cameras. The program automatically converts stereo MPO files into multi-view stereo sequences for lenticular 3D photo printing.
This software is user-friendly, thanks to its Program Wizard and intuitive interface that allow users to run the program features step-by-step effortlessly. It also has a detailed User Guide that describes all options of the software.
StereoTracer has an auto-alignment feature that enables the user to obtain a better 3D visualization effect. Furthermore, users can control parallax and convergence points in the resulting 3D multi-view sequence of frames with flexible settings.
Finally, StereoTracer outputs sequences that are easily compatible with 3DMasterKit for full-grown lenticular printing, making it an excellent software tool for creating high-quality 3D effects.
