Convert chess games into music using a free Ruby-based tool.
Bangkok includes a specialized GameListener that creates a MIDI sequence tailored to your preferences. The listener is given to a ChessGame object, which then reads a .pgn file and creates a board. The moves are given to the board so it can move the pieces, and the listener is notified when the game is over. This is when the GameListener writes the MIDI sequence out to a MIDI file for you to enjoy.
It’s important to note that when using Bangkok, you’re operating under the terms of the Ruby License. Nevertheless, this software is a great option for chess players and enthusiasts who want to get more out of their games.
