Bucket Explorer is a graphical user interface designed to help you manage your S3 Buckets with ease and efficiency. It streamlines the process of managing your data and allows you to manipulate your files in a user-friendly manner.
Amazon only provides its users with a development kit for storage, which requires the writing of code by programmers in order to utilize it. Fortunately, Bucket Explorer was designed to be simple and code-free, making it accessible to all users regardless of programming experience. It's like an FTP client tool for S3, but is also capable of serving as an S3 backup tool with ease.
Bucket Explorer's most important features include the ability to upload and download files from Amazon S3 server, along with browsing the buckets and files stored within it. Users can also upload files in HTML format for Web Hosting, customize file headers, set Server Access Logging (Bucket Logging) for audits, synchronize data between multiple computers, and create both public URLs and time limited signed URLs to share files with others. The program also allows access to shared buckets and files from other users on Amazon S3 accounts and provides the option of setting Access Control Security Permissions on Buckets and Files for authorizing valid users and preventing unauthorized access.
To use Bucket Explorer, all you need is an Amazon S3 account. There is a 30-day trial period, but when that's over, Bucket Explorer will not only save you time but make your Amazon S3 experience much more convenient with its user-friendly interface and extensive capabilities.
