ConvertStuff is conversion software that offers numerous unit and computer related conversions in a user-friendly interface.
The software offers several key features such as character conversions that enable ASCII strings to binary, hex, integers, and reverse, as well as converting ASCII to lowercase, titlecase, and uppercase. Additionally, the ASCII table feature displays binary, decimal, hex, and octal equivalent values.
The key codes function of ConvertStuff determines the key value assigned to each key pressed on the keyboard and also calculates their decimal values. Another powerful feature of the software is the Extra Conversions function which provides animal age calculations for determining the age of animals in human years and human age in animal years.
The Depreciation feature allows users to determine straight-line and sum of the years digits depreciation. The software also shows the amount of time a file(s) takes to download using a specific bandwidth service and/or speed from 9600 baud, to T-1, to OC-1 carriers, to the fastest there is called the DWDM (Dense Wave Division Multiplexor).
ConvertStuff comes with additional functions for unit conversions, print and image conversions, and weather conversions. The Unit Conversions function allows for the conversion of thousands of units of measurements utilizing numbers or fractions. For weather conversions, the software can determine the temperature from the number of cricket chirps heard, dew point, heat index, relative humidity, and wind chill index.
ConvertStuff provides a user-friendly interface that is easy to navigate. The software comes with preferences capability for storing defaults such as number precision and window. It has a help capability for assistance and definitions as well as a menu item to check for new versions, allowing users to download the latest version.
However, some functions are disabled, and users will encounter a registration screen at startup. Overall, ConvertStuff is an essential software for anyone who needs efficient and accurate unit conversions, computer conversions, and calculations.
