This number guessing game is based on AIR technology and is available for free.
Once you click the 'New Game' button, you have 10 attempts to uncover the number. An 'Enter' key associated with a 4-digit number is used to register each try. After entering the guess, click on the 'Check' button. For each guess, the computer analyses the number and returns a value called Bulls and Cows. A Bull symbolizes a correct digit in the correct position, while a Cow represents a correct digit, but in the wrong position. The player can continue guessing phrases till the maximum of 10 tries or until they uncover the correct one.
A timer present on the screen assists in analyzing the time required to uncover the number. The player can cancel their current game or commence a new game anytime by tapping the 'New Game' button.
Here is a sample game:
Suppose the computer guesses a number 4528. After the first haphazard guess, for instance, you try 1379, the computer returns a value of 0B, 0C, which signifies that none of the entered digits are present in the computer's number. Your second guess could be 1238, and the response from the computer could be 1B, 1C. One Bull symbolizes that your fourth digit, which is 8, is present in the computer's number and in the right position. Similarly, one Cow reflects that your second digit, i.e. 2, is present in the computer's number but in the wrong position.
The primary motive of the game is to use logical reasoning and guesswork to narrow down choices and get all four digits at the correct position, ultimately making it a 4 Bull. The game is licensed and distributed under Apache License 2.0.
