DotNetRemoting SDK enables developers to create Bidirectional network applications. Its features include Firewall transparency, support for Http, tcp, udp, and GPRS. It supports GPRS, Wi-Fi, and bluetooth connections on mobile devices.
What's great about this tool is that it is built for .Net full and Compact Frameworks, and it is the only bidirectional framework available for handhelds such as PDAs, Pocket PCs, and smartphones. DotNetRemoting provides outstanding performance thanks to its Fast Serializer while giving accessibility for clients behind firewalls or proxy. It supports sock proxy 4,5 protocol and protocols like TCP, HTTP, and UDP.
Furthermore, DotNetRemoting SDK enables HTTP and TCP object-based broadcasting, UDP object-based broadcasting, file transfer, encryption, and effortless deployment. There are no deployment license fees required, and it is written in 100% native .NET code.
To help users get started, C# and VBNet sample code are both included in the package. The SDK has new major components, including HttpClient, RawClient, RawServer, HttpProxyServer, and HttpProxyClient. In HTTP mode, the server may act as a gateway/proxy server so that all calls not explicitly addressed to DNRPlus server are relayed to the HTTP server IIS, enabling bidirectional communication with DNRPlus clients. However, this communication is only possible if the network supports HTTP 1.1 protocol to keep the connection alive.
Lastly, DotNetRemoting SDK is GPRS enabled so that you can use it conveniently while on the go. Overall, this software makes bidirectional network applications a breeze while providing excellent performance and accessibility.
Version 1.0.3:
This suite is a new generation of network communication componets.
Most of the functionality is inherited from DotNetRemotingLib3.0.5
