DotsAndBoxes is a Java applet that allows players to enjoy the popular board game, Dots and Boxes, also known as Lines and Boxes, on their computers.
When a player clicks on the fourth line and completes a square, they get to keep that square. The player with the most squares at the end of the game wins. This applet comes packaged as an archive, that you can quickly unpack and run in your Terminal.
To use it, navigate to the directory containing unpacked files and initiate the app using the following run command: "java DotsAndBoxes2" (without the quotes). Keep in mind that as you download the ZIP file to access the software, you'll also get accompanying PDF documentation for thorough guidance on operations.
