This software summarizes that the game is an ancient Roman board game that continues to be popular today.
The aim of the game is to move your pieces around the board once and move them out of the board before your opponent does. To start, your pieces must enter the board through the middle row, move in a counterclockwise direction to the top row, travel to the bottom row and finally move out of the board.
The player who takes the first move will move their pieces onto the board using the left side of the middle row, while the other player will use the right side of the middle row. Each turn involves rolling two dice to determine the number of steps your pieces can take.
It is imperative to note that you must finish your turn within the allotted time frame indicated by the timer on the screen, or you'll lose. Each of the letters in the middle row can only be occupied by one piece. When your piece moves to the top or bottom row, another piece of yours can land on it, and the two pieces will stack and move as a group.
A stack of pieces cannot move to a letter currently occupied by a larger opponent stack. However, a stack of pieces can move to a letter occupied by an opponent stack that has the same or a smaller number of pieces. Those pieces in the opponent stack must move out of the board and start from the beginning again.
Finally, when your pieces arrive at the right side of the bottom row, you need an exact throw for them to leave the board. Take advantage of this opportunity to defeat your opponent, raise your reputation in the realm, and enjoy the beauty of ancient Rome!
