This software enables the display of two Finder windows on your desktop, which are symmetrical in nature.
The software provides two symmetrical Finder windows that can be displayed on the desktop either side by side (columns) or one on top of the other (rows). Fiwi also optimizes memory usage by quitting and freeing all memory once the application is closed.
Fiwi ensures that the two windows are displayed with a 20-pixel border around the screen and between the two windows in both formats. To access two windows in column format, or side by side, users can double-click pwrWndws. Alternatively, double-clicking Fiwi while holding down the shift key will prompt the two windows to appear in row format, one on top of the other.
In the absence of windows, Fiwi uses the Finder to create two new windows with the user's default settings for new windows. If one window is present, the software assumes that it is set up as the user's source window and leaves it untouched, except for resizing it and placing it at the top (rows) or left (columns) of the desktop. Fiwi creates the second window with the user's default settings for new windows and places it either underneath (rows) or to the right (columns) of the first window.
If two or more windows are already present, Fiwi will use the top two and leave all others underneath them. All in all, Fiwi is an intuitive and practical tool that can help streamline file and folder management for macOS users.
