This Firefox add-on displays global weather conditions, enabling users to view international weather data.
One of the best things about Forecastfox is its ability to be customized. Despite its lightweight design, the extension allows for nearly as much data to be displayed as leading desktop weather programs. If you can't find what you're looking for, simply click on the weather icons to open up the AccuWeather.com forecast for your location.
When current conditions are updated, a slider pops up from the bottom right corner of your screen, similar to the popup notification for completed downloads. This slider can be customized to show only the information you want or can be disabled altogether.
Forecastfox is highly customizable, allowing you to decide on the number of days to forecast, the content of tooltips, and whether or not to see labels. Additionally, you can choose which toolbar to place the extension in, and the intuitive options window makes customization fast and easy.
Forecastfox even offers a profile system that lets you quickly switch between multiple locations. Each profile saves its own settings, including tooltips, labels, number of days forecasted, and location. Additionally, there's a setting that automatically rotates between profiles at a given time interval.
Finally, everything in Forecastfox is translated, including more than 170 forecast variations, day names, and other information. Unlike the original Forecastfox extension, translated forecasts aren't trimmed down, so you'll be able to access all the data you need quickly and easily.
