Open source Gaussian03 data extractor, available for free.
GOT was specifically designed to help chemists manipulate the large number of outputs that are often generated when screening libraries of compounds. Originally created as a supplementary project to the TauTGen program, GOT has since become an essential tool in the arsenal of many chemists.
Using GOT is incredibly simple. All you have to do is run one of the Perl scripts that corresponds to the data you want to extract. For example, to extract the final energy from your output file, you would run the "perl g03_finene.plx < your_output_file.log" command. Similarly, if you want to extract the final dipole moment, you would run "perl g03_findipole.plx < your_output_file.log".
Overall, Gaussian Output Tools is an incredibly useful tool that can save chemists a lot of time and hassle. If you frequently work with Gaussian output files, you owe it to yourself to give GOT a try. With its simple interface and powerful functionality, you won't be disappointed.
