Operating System: Mac OS X
Image Crammer is a free keyboard driven image viewer/slide show program for Mac OS X. It may come as a shock but the interface is keyboard driven. Press a key performs a function. Most of the keys are customizable in the preference window.
Audio comes from a playlist in iTunes called "Image Crammer." This can be changed in the preferences. Shoutcast streams are also supported. Most important keys when one first starts to use: the arrow keys move you around your file system.
Go into a directory with pictures using the arrow keys and press return. Remember hit the right arrow key to get in the directory. Capital letters jump you to directory starting with the letter. Again you have to go into the directory with the right arrow key. Press return to load the pictures in that directory.
When first starting, you are in deck one. Press the '2' key and your in deck 2, etc. Move to another directory with the arrow keys, press return and you have another deck. Load all decks and switch between them quickly pressing the number keys. Keep an eye out for your review mode.
The review mode works with the "keep" status of the pictures. A review mode of old will only show the kept files. A review mode of new will only show the unkept
files. None will show all.
Kept files will remain in the deck even if loading another directory. Space toggles the kept status of a single file. "Remove unkept" or "unkeep" does not delete the files that reside on your disk.
Hit control key to toggle the data display. No saving yet, but last directories visited in each deck before quitting come up when you restart the program.
