A concentration enhancing application available on menu bar.
Once activated, Isolator masks your desktop and all other open applications, allowing you to concentrate on the task at hand. While it is similar to other apps like Think and Backdrop, Isolator boasts the advantage of absolute customization for the developer.
Isolator is simple to start – simply double-click it in your Applications folder. It will install a small square icon in your menu bar, providing easy access to its features. To turn it on, simply click on the menu bar icon and select "Turn Isolator On" from the drop-down menu. To turn it off, do the same.
Alternatively, you have the option to use the keyboard shortcut "shift-command-i" (or "F8" in older versions) to quickly toggle its function on and off. Overall, Isolator is an incredibly useful tool for maintaining focus on work or study.
