Effortlessly organize and control your model railroad with user-friendly software.
One of the key features of the system is automatic block control, which helps to prevent collisions. You can manually or automatically control which trains are moving according to selected routes. Thanks to modern software techniques, iTrain can run on all major operating systems, including Windows, Mac OS, Linux, and OpenSolaris.
The software's client-server architecture makes it possible to add extra computers to be used as either controllers or additional overviews. The switchboard is fully scalable, and an optional layout overview is available for larger layouts. The program also enables users to create different tabs for various views of the layout or specific areas of the layout.
Unlike other complex software packages on the market, iTrain is easy to use. Simply draw your layout and assign feedbacks and signals to the blocks for automatic control of your block signals. You won’t have to spend weeks studying how to use iTrain. There’s no need to provide difficult rules if you don’t want to.
If you want to define a route, you can do so quickly and easily by selecting the order of blocks. More advanced features are also available for those who want more control over their layouts. Additionally, if you are using a modern system like the Central Station or ECoS, iTrain will import all of your locomotive, turnout, and signal definitions, so you can get up and running even faster.
