The software iTunes Tag Sort allows users to quickly modify and manage multiple track tags in iTunes, enabling them to write and edit them simultaneously.
One of the most helpful features of iTunes Tag Sort is that it allows you to copy the content from your normal tags and edit the sort tags or make your own sort tags. For example, if you're sorting a compilation album, you can set the album-artist for sorting to "Various Artists". Only the sort tags are changed, so you can rest assured that your original tags (title, artist, album, etc.) will remain safe.
Starting iTunes Tag Sort pulls the tag information for all the selected tracks from iTunes and displays them for you to edit. When you've finished making changes, simply click the "Write Tags" button to save your changes and apply them to your selected tracks.
iTunes Tag Sort also comes with TagCopy, which writes the content of your normal tags (title, artist, album, etc.) into the sort tags. Additionally, you can set definite articles ('The', 'Der', 'Die' and 'Das') to the end of tags. This is an individual option for each sort tag, so you can customize the sorting to your preferences.
The latest release of iTunes Tag Sort includes bug fixes and a new icon. This software is compatible with iTunes and provides an efficient way to manage your music library.
