A test framework that is both free and open-source, allowing for efficient and effective software testing.
To create this approach more efficient, XML-based system test definition files are used. System test definitions refer to one or more actions, with each action defining several validators. By using Spring context files, testers can efficiently get up and running, thanks to the existing Spring framework documentation.
Spring also allows existing POJOs to smoothly integrate with the system test framework. Configurable Jete Framework test actions and validators can use these POJOs. The framework is mainly Spring configurations triggered by the SystemTest class.
With Jete, you can extend the basic JUnit, DbUnit, and HttpUnit functionalities for testing concepts and exploit the existing robust frameworks. The JUnit Ant integration plays a key role here as it provides graphical reports of testing status. Furthermore, the sample in the zip aids you to understand how to run the testing. To run the sample, Junit should be included in the classpath and MySql must be installed with username = "root" and password = "admin" Into the Framework.
