The Mail.app plug-in enables users to send pictures through their email.
With this plugin installed, you can easily have your image displayed in your email messages when you send them to someone who also has MailPictures installed. This feature is completely transparent to the user and requires no further intervention to work.
To enhance the user experience even further, MailPictures utilizes the built-in mechanism provided by Mac OS X (and optionally .Mac) for storage and display of images. Those with experience working with the AddressBook application will likely recognize the approach.
As well as being a geeky feature that is sure to appeal to Mac OS X enthusiasts, MailPictures offers a genuinely invaluable tool for recognizing those who you may only know through electronic communication.
Importantly, MailPictures is most effective when multiple users are utilizing it. Therefore, we highly recommend giving it a try and letting us know what you think.
