Mastermind is a computerized rendition of the popular board game where players decipher a code through a series of guesses. With a user-friendly interface, the game provides hours of challenge and entertainment.
To make your guess, you simply click on the round buttons to arrange a code that you think could be the secret one. Once you have done this, click on the "Guess" button. Your attempt will then be measured against the secret code and some hints will appear next to it.
The hints are in the form of small circles. If you see a black circle, it means you have guessed a number that is in the right position in the secret code. If you see a white circle, it means you have guessed a number, but it is not in the right position.
For example, if the secret code is 5462 and your attempt is 1267, only two small circles will appear next to your attempt. One circle will be black, indicating you have guessed the number 6 and it is in the right position. The other circle will be white, indicating you have guessed the number 2, but it is not in the right position.
It is worth noting that the small circles do not indicate which numbers they refer to. This game is a fun and challenging way to test your code breaking skills!
