Secondly, an Ordnance Survey Grid reference is entered as NY995346; grid square followed by coordinates as 6, 8 or 10 figure grid reference. Thirdly, it is essential to note that the Ordnance Survey Grid ONLY covers the United Kingdom. Finally, the United Kingdom is located in the Northern Hemisphere.
