This software provides an intuitive user interface to adjust display monitor controls efficiently.
Thankfully, NaViSet uses an industry standard communication link called DDC/CI that was developed by VESA (Video Electronics Standards Association). This means that it should work with most video graphics adapters, as long as your monitor supports DDC/CI.
One thing to keep in mind is that NaViSet will only work if your computer is connected to the correct video input on your monitor. Several monitors, including the NEC FP1375X, NEC FP955, NEC LCD1550X, and NEC LCD1850E, have multiple video inputs. Be sure to confirm that you're using the correct one before trying to use NaViSet.
Lastly, it's important to note that this Universal Binary version of NaViSet will support both PowerPC and Intel-based Macs. However, as of OS 10.4.7, Intel-based Macs using Intel graphics processors (e.g. Intel Mac mini, 13" MacBook, and 17" iMac with Intel GMA 950 graphics processor) are not supported due to incompatibilities with the video drivers. This may be fixed with a future update from Apple.
