This software provides a PHP-based web interface to configure routers with OpenWrt firmware installed. It enables users to easily manage and adjust router settings through a user-friendly interface.
With netWRT, it's now possible to group routers and share specific aspects of their configuration amongst them. For instance, you can transmit WLAN security settings like keys or MAC filters, making it easier to manage and monitor your network settings.
To avoid conflicts in changed settings, for example, between WPA and WEP settings, netWRT does a thorough verification before distributing them using a secure SSH-Channel. It ensures that every update is safe and reliable.
To get started with this software, you need a web server that supports PHP and MySQL 3.22 or later, SSH, expect (requires TCL 8.3), as well as openWRT-based systems. In our tests, we used Apache 1.3.x and PHP 4.3 with safe mode disabled.
Overall, netWRT offers fantastic features, and its framework is easy to use and maneuver, even for novice users. It will undoubtedly make your network management feel like a breeze.
