The Thunderbird add-on automatically removes the subject line while composing a message.
But wait, there's more! This extension also has a selective mode which allows me to delete only the subject line that starts with a specific character. This feature comes in handy when I want to keep the subject line for some messages but not for others.
To use this feature, all I have to do is set the specific character that I want to use to trigger the deletion of the subject line. This can be done easily by adjusting the pref "nosubject.fromtemplate.selectiveChar" - by default, this is set to "@".
Overall, I'm very impressed with this extension and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to streamline their email composition process. It's user-friendly, customizable, and has greatly reduced the amount of time I spend editing my emails.
