PodCastEnhancer simplifies the creation of enhanced podcasts. It provides tools for easy authoring of such content.
After this, PodCastEnhancer prompts you to locate the opening picture. You can either point to a picture file or select a photo from iPhoto. The software scales the picture to a maximum of 300 pixels and saves it inside a folder named PodCastPictures in your project folder.
Moving forward, you have the option to add a hyperlink to your first chapter manually or use the current page in Safari. The software repeatedly asks if you want to add another chapter. For every chapter you add, you can also input a bookmark title, a picture, and/or a hyperlink. If necessary, you can remove the current hyperlink as well.
Once you've entered all the necessary information for a chapter, PodCastEnhancer shows you a summary of the chapter before you add it to your podcast. If you're unsure about whether a chapter has all the necessary items, you can choose not to add the tag.
When you're finished adding chapters, select "not to make another chapter" and continue building your enhanced podcast. The software will ask you to input a filename for the podcast, and it will be saved into your project folder.
Some new features in the latest release of PodCastEnhancer include a chapter summary for the first chapter and correct encoding of special XML characters in hyperlinks. To use this software, you must have iPhoto, Safari, QuickTime Player, and iTunes 4.9 installed on your computer.
