PPP-OnlineTime is a software tool that allows users to track and measure their online time using a PPP-connection. It provides an easy way to monitor their internet usage and stay within predetermined limits.
One thing to note is that during the weekend, costs are calculated with the night rate, as this tends to be how most ISPs do it. However, if you reach a specified budget, a warning will be displayed every time you dial in, until the counter is reset again.
Additionally, once a month (usually on the first day of every month at 0:00 am), the data is written to a logfile and the counter is reset. If you don't want this to happen automatically, you can turn off the AutoReset function in the settings.
Finally, there's also an additional logfile that lists every single connection you make. If you don't need this feature, you can turn it off as well. Overall, if you're looking for a simple way to track your online time and costs, PPP-OnlineTime and PPP-OnlineCounter are definitely worth checking out.
