For employees, the time card screen is the principal dashboard for interacting with the system. From this single spot, staff can see their weekly hours, punch in and out, keep tabs on lunch punches, produce daily reports, and register work hours associated with specific jobs. The Job Log component of the time card empowers workers to launch or terminate job timers that track time and type of work on a job-to-job basis. Staff members can be logged in for multiple jobs simultaneously.
As the administrator, you exercise comprehensive control over the way the system functions. Add, remove and edit nearly any data in the application. The admin area is safeguarded by an admin password to prevent adjustment of the settings and time card data. Work types let you establish specific types of work your staff can use, with costs and billing information linked to each category. Work types can be affiliated with particular customers or be designated as available for all customers. You can monitor your jobs at any time and see what work has been conducted, alongside your running expenses and billing information.
Punch It comprises several reports ranging from wage reporting on a weekly and bi-weekly basis, and date range reporting. Special export options are also available for use with Paychex Payroll Services.
