RasterView is a software tool that allows users to view CUPS raster files on their computers. It is compatible with CUPS 1.2 and newer versions of the software.
One of the main advantages of RasterView is that it can be used to test the output of these filters, or simply to inspect the data that is being sent to your printer. Upon launching the software, you'll be greeted by a zoomed-in view of the file you're viewing (Z mode). To zoom in even further, simply click on the page or drag a zoom box around the area you want to focus on.
Additionally, RasterView provides a pan mode (P) that enables you to move the page around within the window for better visibility. If you need to zoom out, you can do so by pressing SHIFT + Z and clicking on the page. Finally, there's a color viewing mode (C) that lets you click or drag the mouse to see the raw colors of the file. Overall, RasterView is a dependable and user-friendly tool that can handle your CUPS raster viewing needs with ease.
