RegexTester is a software tool that checks one or multiple strings for a match with a regular expression.
Upon launching RegexTester, you will be presented with two input fields. The first field is designed to allow you to enter the regular expression you want to use for validation. The second input field is for the string that you want to validate. As you enter values into these fields, you can save them by clicking on the Save button.
Saved values will persist even after you close the application, and you can clear them by clicking on either Clear Regular Expressions or Clear Strings to Test in the File menu. The validation process takes place each time you change either the regular expression or the string.
The bottom of the application features traffic light indicators that show you the current status of the validation. The left indicator shows you whether the current selected string matches the chosen regular expression. On the other hand, the right indicator turns green when all saved strings are matched by the selected regular expression.
Overall, RegexTester is an essential tool for anyone looking to ensure the accuracy of their regular expressions, and the flexibility it offers is second to none. With its impressive features and accuracy, RegexTester is an integral tool for any developer or software tester.
