Camino AppleScript makes it effortless to store and retrieve URLs from your preferred tabs. Its user-friendly interface simplifies the task of managing your favorite links.
The first script goes even further by now allowing you to remember up to 10 closed tabs, making it easy to undo your browsing history in reverse order. All of the URLs are stored in a text file called "camino-remembered-url.txt" in your Preferences folder, making it easy to access and keep track of your browsing history.
It's important to remember that the Undo Close Tab script will only work on tabs that were closed using the Remember URL and Close Tab script. If you've closed your tabs using other methods such as clicking on the tab widget or choosing the Close option from the File menu, then these tabs will not be remembered or restored.
One handy feature of these scripts is that they come with custom icons designed to look like buttons when placed on Camino’s toolbar. Installing the scripts is a breeze - simply unzip and copy them to the path ~/Library/Scripts/Applications/Camino/, creating any subfolders that don't already exist. Once installed, the script will appear under a "Camino Scripts" heading in your system-wide Script menu when Camino is the frontmost application. In Camino 1.6 or later, you can even place the script on Camino's toolbar by dragging it from the "Customize Toolbar" drop-down sheet.
In summary, Remember URL and Close Tab / Undo Close Tab is a highly convenient and user-friendly solution for browsing sessions that require a bit of undoing. With easy installation and customizable icons, users can feel confident that they are getting a quality product for free.
