Displays a full-screen window featuring a solid color or desktop image.
Previously, I'd struggled to achieve a clean desktop for screenshots without creating a brand new user account, which was time-consuming and not always practical. Fortunately, with Screenshot Helper, it's now possible to avoid this step and still obtain clean, high-quality screenshots by simply hiding your actual desktop.
Navigating the Preferences panel is incredibly intuitive and easy-to-use, allowing you to choose whichever color or desktop picture best suits your needs. Additionally, the application features the ability to shift-drag the window to snap to the edge of the screen, which is especially useful when working on smaller screens.
Finally, I appreciated the ability to quickly show/hide the menu bar and dock by pressing the spacebar, which is incredibly convenient and streamlines the entire process. Overall, Screenshot Helper is an absolute game-changer for anyone who frequently takes screenshots on their Mac. I highly recommend giving it a try!
