This Firefox extension allows users to instantly share websites via their email clients.
The extension is designed to support Thunderbird and Outlook, although Outlook Express users may have to switch to Thunderbird if they want this extension to work. For other email programs, there is a possibility that they might work with this extension, but it's unknown which ones do.
Once installed, two options are available for the user. The extension can be accessed from either a menu item in the "Tools" menu or from a toolbar button found in the customize toolbar window. The options are also customizable through an option window which contains two options. The first option is the path directory to your email client, which includes Thunderbird, Outlook, or Other. When choosing "Other", Thunderbird can be used as an alternative option as it has a chance of working instead.
Moreover, the Send Page via eMail addon is cross-platform and it works efficiently on Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux. The only requirement needed to use this addon is Firefox 1.5 – 3.0b4 version.
Overall, this extension is a neat and convenient tool for Firefox users who frequently deal with sending web pages as email attachments. Its compatibility with different operating systems and email clients makes it a versatile extension that could potentially save users a lot of time and hassle.
