Senet is a board game similar to Backgammon, Sorry! and Pachisi in which players try to reach the end of the board first.
The objective of Senet is to move all of your pawns off the board before your opponent. It is a race game similar to Backgammon, Pachisi, or Sorry!. Players roll a single die to determine how far their pawn can move during their turn. If a pawn lands on an opponent's pawn, players switch places. Players must also watch out for obstacles, such as pawns in a row that cannot be landed on or jumped over.
Senet offers special squares marked by hieroglyphics that can either help or hurt players. These special squares require certain numbers to roll to escape or protect themselves from opponents. The worst square sends pawns back several squares.
Key features of Senet include single, two-player, and network play, five unlockable secrets, fabulous sound, music, and special effects, and classic gameplay with modern enhancements. Senet requires an 800 Mhz Processor, 256MB RAM, 15 MB Hard Drive Space, a 3D Graphic Card, and any Sound Card.
The limitations of the demo version include the inability to play network games and the presence of nag screens. Overall, Senet offers an enjoyable and challenging gameplay experience that combines ancient history with modern technology.
