ShowCallerID is a software that displays the caller's identity, making it easy to recognize the calling party.
This software integrates with your address book to show the name of the caller. If the number isn't in your address book, ShowCallerID will display the area or mobile network from which the call is originating.
One of the key features of ShowCallerID is that it lives in the menu bar, providing easy access for users to quickly access the application. Additionally, it waits until the phone rings before showing the caller ID. It appears on a small window on each monitor connected to the computer and on monitors of any other computers on your local network that are also running ShowCallerID.
Another useful feature is the log window, which shows recent calls. If there is a match for the phone number in the address book, ShowCallerID displays the name of the caller. If there is no match, ShowCallerID uses an internal database of area codes to indicate where the call is coming from.
To use ShowCallerID, you'll need a modem that supports Caller ID. With easy installation and compatibility with Mac OS X 10.4 or later, ShowCallerID is an excellent addition to your suite of productivity software.
