With Skoot, sending large files becomes effortless, making you question why it wasn't this simple before.
One of the key features of Skoot is SkootSpace, which is a desktop tool for file sharing with chosen people or groups. Skoot accommodates various workflows, including basic file transfers, updating, collaboration, and content management. As Skoot is not bound by email limitations, there is no practical size limit when sharing files. You can even send files simultaneously to multiple recipients.
With Skoot, you can access your SkootSpace account round the clock. Additionally, you can continue working, researching, or shopping online while you Skoot your files, without the need to wait until the file is sent. Network interruptions will not be a problem as Skoot ensures that files in progress are automatically resumed, so you will never need to resend lost files.
Using Skoot is simple. You can Skoot files from your desktop by simply dragging and dropping them into the SkootSpace. With round-the-clock access to your Skoot account history, you can fully audit your activities. Furthermore, you can manage your Skoot account online and block unwanted users to ensure security.
In terms of requirements, Skoot needs 128 MB RAM (256 MB recommended) and 50 MB available disk space (150 MB if Java 5.0 Runtime Environment is not installed). For optimal performance, the software requires Mozilla Firefox 1.1 or later, Opera 8.54 or later, or Safari 1.2.2 or later.
There are some limitations, however. For the first two months of use, Skoot has a limit of up to 500 MB per month. Overall, Skoot is a reliable and efficient software for those who need to send large files.
