StopDashboard is a software that prevents Dashboard from removing widgets from memory by permanently stopping it. It can be used to keep widgets active and available for immediate use.
The StopDashboard widget simply kills the Dock process, which includes Dashboard. After doing so, MacOSX will automatically restart the Dock, but Dashboard won't be loaded into memory. If you wish to start Dashboard up again, all you need to do is press F12.
Overall, I believe that the StopDashboard widget is a useful tool for anyone who wants to disable the Dashboard without losing the ability to quickly restart it if necessary. With its simple functionality and easy-to-use interface, this widget is a must-have for any Mac user who wants to streamline their desktop experience.
