The Rip Monkey is a software that enables users to rip up to 600 Audio CDs at once by simply clicking a mouse.
No more shuffling, swapping, or sorting through Audio CD discs. The Rip Monkey allows for hands-off conversion with no user interaction required. It's like having your own helper monkey dedicated to disc ripping!
Key features of The Rip Monkey include the ability to convert up to 200 discs per library with no further user interaction required. Both drives in the PowerFile R200 MFX or R200ROM MFX library are supported for greater conversion rate. And, with the ability to connect up to three PowerFile or R200ROM MFX libraries, you can convert as many as 600 discs in one conversion operation with increased overall throughput.
All songs are automatically added to the iTunes library, allowing for easy library management and one-click post-import track name lookup (using Gracenote's CDDB system for non-commercial customers only). And, with extensive conversion options and high output file quality from Apple's iTunes software, you can be sure that the files you get are exactly what you're looking for.
Full status reports are generated during the import process, giving you a complete overview of the conversion process. The only limitation of The Rip Monkey is that the demo version will only import 10 discs.
To use The Rip Monkey, you'll need a PowerFile library with MediaFinder X (version 1.0.5 or later) software (PowerFile R200 MFX is recommended for maximum convert speed), an Apple PowerMac, PowerBook, iMac, eMac, or iBook computer (G5 processor recommended for maximum performance), Mac OS X 10.3.x, iTunes 4.7 or later, and a connection to the internet for online CD track name lookups (non-commercial customers only). You'll also need approximately 1GB of free drive space, plus additional storage for output converted tracks.
