TheAdmin may prove to be the easiest way to manage accounts on OS X
Version: 1.0 Beta 23TheAdmin is a tool for all administrators dealing with OS X. It's a very easy-to-use application to manage Dock items and preferences of other accounts. An example of usage: You're an admin at some school and people often want Firefox to be installed.
Operating System: Mac OS X
Imagine having 15 different accounts on that Mac and adding the Firefox icon to every single one of those accounts by logging in and out. And imagine you don't have passwords to all the accounts.
TheAdmin has modules, which allow you to manage different kinds of preferences, mostly specific for certain applications, such as Dock. So far (1.0b23) includes just two modules:
· Dock - lets you add, remove and rearrange items in the user's Dock.
· Applications - lets you apply application's preferences to selected account.
Note: During the beta period, TheAdmin will be for free, however, then it will be a $10 shareware.
