Track Splicer is a software that allows users to merge multiple MP3 tracks into one if they have the same format and bitrate. The software ensures a seamless transition between tracks without compromising on the quality.
The only requirements are that the tracks are the same format and bitrate. Additionally, the new track will retain all of the tag info of the last individual track that was joined, with the exception of the name.
Installing the Track Splicer script is easy. Simply place it in your home directory in the /Library/iTunes/Scripts folder. However, it's important to note that this is not a perfect script. It uses UNIX commands and may not work perfectly 100% of the time. For best results, it's recommended to keep the auto-naming feature disabled, which is off by default. If you do want to enable it, instructions on how to do so are provided within the script.
