A Google Wave client designed specifically for Mac computers, allowing access to all the features of the communication and collaboration platform within a dedicated desktop application.
This app works by utilizing the notification information that is provided by Google Wave. You can easily see the current count of unread Waves in the system by looking at the notification icon in the Waveboard window. Additionally, the count is also displayed in the title of the Wave window, enclosed in brackets.
However, there might be some confusion among users regarding the count of changes that are displayed, as opposed to the count of changed Waves that one would expect in a Mail app. But fret not, as Waveboard has a solution for that too.
If you have opened different folders like 'All' and have unread Waves in them, Waveboard shows more counts. And when you click into a Wave, the changes count doesn't reset completely. You have the option to either click on 'Read' or step through the changes using the SPACE key to make it happen.
All in all, if you're a Google Wave user and want to simplify your experience, then Waveboard is the perfect tool for you. Try it out for yourself and see the difference.
